This month we'll be having an interactive session about how to navigate managing fraud and the risks of it within the payroll field. We'll cover different examples of fraud including money laundering, how to protect your business and employees from fraud, and items to look for when partnering with a payroll provider. Our speaker will be Jennifer Hill. Jennifer is an accomplished Compliance Manager with 24 years of experience in the payroll industry, specializing in regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and risk management. At IRIS, she leads key initiatives focused on licensing, regulatory strategy, and enterprise-wide compliance, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the organization remains compliant across North America.

Jennifer began her career supporting and training payroll products and joined myPay Solutions by IRIS during its startup phase in 2006. Her contributions have spanned new account setup, payroll processing, client onboarding, procedure development, and leading a major client conversion to a unified platform. This hands-on foundation laid the groundwork for her transition into compliance leadership, where she now oversees critical functions such as money transmission licensing (MTL), Know Your Client (KYC) protocols, and audit readiness.

Known for her strategic mindset and collaborative leadership, Jennifer manages a high-performing compliance team and works closely with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to protect the business and its clients. Her deep expertise in fraud prevention, internal controls, and regulatory reporting makes her a trusted authority in payroll compliance and a valuable resource for organizations navigating today’s complex regulatory environment
