Unclaimed property will be led by Laura Herrin, MI Dept of Treasury Unclaimed Property Departmental Manager and Angie Dillon, MI Dept of Treasury Unclaimed Property Departmental Supervisor. Laura has 20 years of unclaimed property experience and is a veteran of the US Air Force. Angie Dillon has 3.5 years of unclaimed property experience and, prior to that, 16 years of banking experience. They will be covering the following:

• They will conduct unclaimed property searches for anyone in attendance and assist with initiating claims to get your funds back

How Intelligent HCM is Revolutionizing HR and Payroll (AI) will be presented to us by Jason Conrad from Paycor, a Paychex Company. With over 15 years of experience at the intersection of technology and human capital management, Jason leads the go-to-market strategy for the Paycor Intelligent HCM platform. His focus is on leveraging advanced technologies like AI and machine learning to automate complex processes, deliver actionable insights, and empower business leaders to build winning teams. Jason is passionate about transforming the role of HR from a transactional function to a strategic driver of business success. Jason will be covering:

Change Management for Payroll Professionals: Navigating Disruption with Clarity and Confidence will be lead by our favorite friend of the chapter, Lee Meadows! Lee E. Meadows, is an adjunct Professor of Management at Walsh College and a Consultant with over 30 years of experience working in, consulting for, writing about and resenting on Human Resource issues. He has a strong background in Human Resources and is on the forefront of identifying trends that will impact the profession. He is currently the President of the State of Michigan Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources Co-founder and co-leader of the Walsh College Annual Human Resources Summit, HR Analytics Day, HR Leaders on Leaders Conference, HR Unite Conference and is the President of the State of Michigan Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR). Lee will be presenting the following:

This interactive session equips payroll professionals with practical strategies to manage change at both the technical and human levels. Location and Other Details - This year, we'll be at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi for our full day meeting. This meeting will be in-person only. We will be having breakfast, lunch, and dessert! We will also be doing the raffle for Gleaners donations as well as the raffle for meeting attendance! You do not need to be present to win.
