In this meeting we'll review the OBBBA changes, taking a look at what changes are being made to some TCJA items, as well as items completely new with the passing of OBBBA. We'll discuss these new items in depth, looking at specific examples, solutions, and what this means for your company. We'll also look at the draft W4 updates due to OBBBA, as well as draft W2 updates for calendar year 2026 (2027 filing year).

Our speaker will be Stephanie Pomper. Stephanie Pomper is a MBA grad with a decade of higher ed experience, 8 years of which are in payroll. She fell into payroll, as most do, at her community college while a student there. Present day, she has experience with payroll processing, AP processing, insurance reconciliation, open enrollment, contracts, unions, and reporting of: 1095-C, W-2, 941, MESC, and MiWAM. She is the WebMaster for the Detroit Chapter of PayO, as well as the WebMaster for the MI Statewide Conference Committee. She is a lover of excel, poetry, animals, ice cream, and travel. She has a poetry book published, which you can find on Amazon.
